Secure Nationwide Shipping for your Jewelry

Did you know that the Hope diamond was shipped using the US Post office when sent to Washington DC’s Smithsonian Museum?

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is our preferred method of secure shipping. USPS has proven to be the most reliable and cost-effective method of shipping to and from clients nationwide. Using USPS also allows us to assist you with the insurance costs associated with sending us your jewelry.*

*Please note: If you choose to use a different method of shipping, you are responsible for all shipping and insurance costs.

To send your packages safely and securely to Andrew & Peter Fabrikant:

Please package your items carefully and include your contact information inside the package (name address, phone, email, etc.), along with any appraisals and/or certificates you have for your jewelry.

Be sure to check that the contents of your package do not shift inside the box. Stuff the box with newspaper or bubble wrap. Make sure the box is properly sealed with brown tape or postal tape. Clear, scotch taped packages will be rejected at the Post Office.

Please use a proper mailing box. These can be found at the Post Office or any stationary store. Do not use a flat envelope of any kind.

Take your package to the local Post Office and send it us Registered, Insured, and Return Receipt requested mail.

MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR RETURN ADDRESS ON THE PACKAGE.

• STEPS TO INSURE YOUR PACKAGE
  1. Speak to a Representative at Andrew & Peter Fabrikant to receive an estimate of value for your jewelry. Call (212) 557-4888.
  2. If your items are valued at $25,000 or under, please purchase the appropriate amount of insurance through the USPS. You may purchase up to $25,000 of insurance with the USPS for Registered Mail shipments.
  3. For items valued over $25,000, please contact a representative at Andrew & Peter Fabrikant to discuss additional insurance coverage, which can be provided to you, at no cost, through our insurance carrier for up to $300,000.**
• **Requirements for additional insurance are:
  • A copy of the supporting appraisal, certificate, or picture of the jewelry;
  • Confirmation of additional insurance needed from one of our representatives;
    
  • A copy of your postal receipt as proof of shipment.
